PM Modi Inaugurated Ayodhya Dham Railway Staiton and Airport

 

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi was welcomed by various groups of artists from across the country as he arrived in Ayodhya on Saturday, December 30, 2023. He laid the foundation stone of 46 projects worth Rs 15,700 crore there. While on his way to the railway station, the Prime Minister held a road show where more than 1,400 performers presented folk art and cultural programs on a total of 40 stages set up along the route. He was greeted by a large number of people with flowers and slogans. He inaugurated the redeveloped Ayodhya Dham Railway Station, flagging off six Vande Bharat express trains : one, the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-New Delhi, second one, the Amritsar-Delhi, third one, the Coimbatore-Bangalore Cantt, fourth, the Mangalore-Madgaon, fifth, the Jalna-Mumbai and sixth the Ayodhya-Anand Vihar Terminal. He also flagged two new Amrit Bharat trains: the Darbhanga-Ayodhya-Anand Vihar Terminal and the Malda Town-Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminus (Bengaluru). At the railway station, Modi was accompanied by CM Shri Yogi Adityanath, Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw and deputy CM Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya and Shri Brijesh Pathak. The Phase-I of the redeveloped railway station has been completed at a cost of more than Rs 240 crore. The building has three storeys, and has modern features like lifts, escalators, food plazas, shops for puja needs, waiting halls, cloak rooms, and rooms for child-care. Its facade is inspired by traditional temple architecture.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned from there to inaugurate the new Maharishi Valmiki International Airport too. At the airport, he was accompanied by Union Minister for Civil Aviation Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia, Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation Shri V K Singh, CM Shri Adityanath and a few other leaders. The Phase-1 of the airport has been developed at a cost of more than Rs 1,450 crore. The airport's terminal building will have an area of 6,500 sqm, equipped to serve about 10 lakh passengers annually. The facade of the airport terminal building is heavily influenced by the architecture of the Ram Temple. The interiors of the airport are decorated with paintings and murals depicting the life of Lord Ram. The Prime Minister gave an address to the people at the airport saying, “The whole world is waiting for the historic Ram Temple consecration at Ayodhya on January 22. Development and heritage will take the country forward.”

Pran-Pratishtha at Ram Temple Ayodhya

Ram is not only our lord but our identity: the symbol of our culture, the representative of our nationality, the pride of Bharat Varsh. Divided, we not only suffered invasions but the considerable part of the nation got infected with disloyalty and, as a result, our Lord could not find his place of birth in his own kingdom. Now united, we restore our lost heritages. After a 500 years wait, the Ram Temple is going to be inaugurated in Ayodhya on January 22, 2024. 10-day Vedic rituals for the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony marked as Amrit Mahotsava will begin after Makar Sankranti on January 14 and will last until the main ceremony to be held on January 22, when a Vedic priest from Varanasi, Lakshmi Kant Dixit, will perform the main rituals of enthroning Ram Lalla at the sanctum-sanctorum of the temple between 11.30 am and 12:45 p.m. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi may carry the existing movable idol of Lord Ram from the makeshift temple to the garbhagriha of the newly constructed Ram Temple. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is likely to accompany him. A five-foot sculpted idol will be placed alongside the movable idol. An apparatus on the top of the temple will make the sun fall on the forehead of Ram Lalla on the day of Ram Navami every year. The Prime Minister may preside over as yajman (host) of the main religious ceremony. About 4,000 saints of all sects will participate in the consecration ceremony. A 1008 Hundi Mahayagya will also be organised and thousands of devotees will take part in a holy feast. The temple trust has invited around 10,000 people. Finally, the temple is expected to open for devotees on January 24, 2024.

अखिल भारतीय साहित्य परिषद्

 

राम विवाह के उपलक्ष्य में अखिल भारतीय साहित्य परिषद् के, नगर शाखा - बहराइच के तत्वावधान में नगर इकाई की मासिक काब्य गोष्ठी का आयोजन शिव कुमार सिंह रैकवार की अध्यक्षता में संपन्न हुआ। श्री राधा कृष्ण पाठक द्वारा की गयी माँ भारती की वंदना के साथ यह कार्यक्रम अखिल भारतीय साहित्य परिषद् की नगर इकाई के अध्यक्ष सुभाषित श्रीवास्तव 'अकिंचन के निवास पर संपन्न हुआ। वे जनपद के जाने-माने गजलकार हैं, उनकी गजलों ने समा बाँध दिया। जनपद के प्रसिद्द कवि भाइयों ने भी मनमोहक कवितायेँ पढ़ीं। परिषद् के प्रान्तीय उपाध्यक्ष श्री गुलाब चन्द्र जायसवाल ने देश-प्रेम की कविता पढ़ी : "बचपन से भारत माता हित बलिदान भाव जगाये थे, आज़ाद हिन्द सेना ने गोरों के छक्के छुडवाये थे। यदि वे होते तो देश प्रेम का जज्बा यहाँ न कम होता।" परिषद् के जिला महामंत्री, रमेश चन्द्र तिवारी ने अपनी लोकप्रिय पुस्तक अनुश्री की राष्ट्र-खंड की एक कविता पढ़ी : "सनातन के ह्रदय में ज्ञान का आधार है मंदिर, हमारी सभ्यता का मूल पालनहार है मंदिर । मनोहर रम्य मंदिर श्रोत है आनंद का मंदिर, हमारे प्राण प्यारे राम के अवतार का मंदिर !" डॉ रंजन विशद ने प्रस्तुत किया : "दंश विरह का कभी नहीं मिट पायेगा, चट्टानी विश्वास नहीं हिल पायेगा। कान्हा सा व्योहार भले ही मिल जाए, राधा जैसा प्यार नहीं मिल पायेगा।" परिषद् के मीडिया प्रभारी पुण्डरीक पांडेय ने राष्ट्र प्रेम की कविता पढ़ी : "गंगा जमुना गा रही देश-प्रेम का गान, हिमगिरि से आकर बसा भारत का सम्मान।" वीरेश पांडेय ने रचना पढ़ी : "रहा अकेला कब से अम्बर, रही अकेली धरती है। फिर जाने क्यों सारी दुनिया खालीपन से डरती है।" अवधी के प्रसिद्द कवि श्री देशराज सिंह ने कविता पढ़ी : “त्याग और बलिदान मांगती है माटी, खोया हिन्दुस्तान मांगती है मांटी ।“ विमलेश 'विमल' ने पंक्तियाँ प्रस्तुत करते  कहा : "है तेरे पत्थर का मुझको डर नहीं, क्योंकि शीशे का हमारा घर नहीं।" अनुष्का 'अनघ' ने पढ़ा : “टूटी वीणा के तारों ने पीड़ा सही, औ सुरों को मिले भी ज़माना हुआ ।" डा. अशोक गुलशन, अयोध्या प्रसाद शर्मा 'नवीन', देवब्रत त्रिपाठी, अर्पण शुक्ल, बैजनाथ सिंह, धनञ्जय कुमार शर्मा आदि ने भी अपनी ग़ज़ल, गीत, भक्ति भाव के पद से सबको भाव विभोर किया।

A brief story about the Silkyara Tunnel Rescue Operation

4.5 km Silkyara tunnel is the part of the 890-km-long Char Dham project which aims to provide all weather connectivity to Yamunotri through two-lane paved roads. It will reduce travel distance between Uttarkashi and Yamunotri town by 26 km. On Sunday, 12 November 2023 the tunnel caved in due to a landslide nearby and 41 workers got trapped inside it. A big rescue operation had been launched by drilling through the 60 m blockage of rock and metal debris to create space for a pipe as a horizontal exit passage through which the workers could crawl out of the tunnel. An American auger drilling machine was airlifted by IAF aircraft on Wednesday night, 15 Nov. It started boring through the rubble and pushing a six-metre-long steel pipe of 900 mm diameter into the debris on Thursday afternoon. Later, another pipe was welded to it to push it further in.

CM Pushkar Singh Dhami visited the Silkyara tunnel in Uttarkashi district on Thursday, 23 Nov and spoke to the 41 construction workers trapped inside with a view to giving them confidence. "We have come to around 45 metres. We are very close to you now," he said said. Then he added “Prime Minister Narendra Modi speaks with me every morning to take updates on your condition.”

The operation has been challenging from the beginning, mainly due to the presence of falling boulders, loose soil and metal rods inside the tunnel. The rescue work faced technical glitches, but it seemed to be making steady progress until Friday evening, 24 Nov when the operation faced a big hurdle after the American-auger drilling machine hit a metal girder, causing its blades to get damaged. Anyway, the drilling was set to start from 46.8 metres once again and was expected to take six-eight hours in case no further blockage is faced. But when the operation was ready to restart, it was discovered that a bend had appeared in a six-metre pipe and Machine’s blades had broken.

The rescue operation entered its 15th day on Sunday afternoon, November 26 when an 86-metre vertical drilling was considered as second best alternative and soon employed to rescue the workers. It was expected to be completed in four days. Certain other options to reach the workers were also planned like Sideways or perpendicular drilling covering 170 metres, Drift technology, a 483-metre rescue tunnel using the blast technique from the Barkot end of the tunnel, vertical drilling from the Barkot end by the ONGC.

However, horizontal drilling was considered as the best option. The same day plasma and magna rod cutter machines were brought in. The front part of the Auger machine which was stuck in the pipeline was completely cut with a plasma cutter on November 27 and with that the manual drilling was employed in the evening with the help of Indian Army engineers, rat miners, and other technicians. They succeeded drilling the remaining 13 metres of the rubble and the men were brought out in wheeled stretchers through the 90cm wide pipe. After 17 days the mission was ultimately completed on Tuesday evening, 28 Nov 2023, overcaming many obstacles.

Thanks to the efforts of a group of rat-hole miners, who used hand-held drills through rocks and rubble. One of the rescuers told that the moment they broke through the last part of the debris, there was an outburst of happiness inside the tunnel. There was a sense of national relief after rescuers pulled out the last of the 41 men from the tunnel amid darkness. The workers were smiling, waving and shaking hands with those present there. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Union Minister of State for Road Transport & Highways, VK Singh received the rescued workers coming out of the tunnel and greeted them one by one with cheers and flower garlands. There was an air of jubilation among their colleagues and family members too, many of whom had spent days outside the tunnel, praying for the rescue operations to succeed. They could be seen garlanding the workers, embracing them and giving them sweets. People gathered outside the tunnel, setting off firecrackers and distributing sweets. They chanted “Har Har Mahadev” and “Bharat Mata ki Jai” in celebration of the successful rescue.

 

One of the trapped men told that it was claustrophobic inside the tunnel and it was a relief to get out. Another worker spoke to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on a phone call, saying that the workers would motivate each other to stay positive, that they would go for walks and practice yoga to keep active inside the tunnel and that they ate their meals together. One of them described that he spent time playing games on his mobile phone, which he would charge using portable chargers provided by rescuers through a separate narrow pipe. Kissing his son Manjit Chaudhary Lal said, "I have already lost one son to an accident at a construction site. I couldn't stand to lose another." Dhanpati, mother of Ram Sundar, told that Diwali will be celebrated in their village on Tuesday today after her son's safe exit from the tunnel instead of on 12 November - the actual festival day.

The workers were supplied with quality food, oxygen and water through the narrow pipe since early in the rescue. All of them were kept in constant communication with doctors, psychiatrists and their family members. On 21 November, the first images of the trapped men emerged as a medical endoscopy camera was pushed through the pipeline. Some 12 men in helmets and construction worker jackets were captured standing in a semi-circle in the glow of tunnel lights.

Local people said, “The construction company had promised to build a temple of Baukh Nag Baba in the forest just above the Silkyara Tunnel, but the temple has not been built since 2019. The small temple built by the villagers has also been demolished. So this accident is the wrath of God.”When initial efforts to rescue the trapped workers failed, a makeshift temple of the deity was established outside the tunnel for the rescue workers to offer prayers each day for the success of their mission. Uttarakhand CM and the foreign expert Mr Arnold Dix worshiped Baba BhaukhNag there. Temple priest Ganesh Prasad Bijalwan said that the company officials apologised and promised to build another shrine. He performed puja and prayed for the success of the ongoing rescue to save the workers. A figure of Lord Shiva made of water behind the makeshift temple appeared on November 27. He blessed the rescue workers, who succeded getting the workers out of the tunnel safely. At the end of the operation Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami went to the makeshift temple to express his gratitude to Baba Bhaukhnag and promised to rebuild the temple.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took regular updates and PMO officials were stationed at the spot, monitoring the operation closely. The PM lauded the courage and patience of the trapped workers calling it an “inspiration to everyone”. He also had a 15-minute phone conversation with the labourers. He said, “I congratulate everyone, I am very happy. Kedarnath Baba and Badrinath ji ki kripa rahi.

Ambulances ferried the rescued workers to a community at Chinyalisaur health centre where a special 41-bed ward had been prepared for their arrival. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami met the workers at the hospital and handed over Rs 1 lakh to each of them on Wednesday, Nov 29. He also announced Rs 50,000 reward for each of the rescue workers who went inside the evacuation passage and helped the trapped labourers come out of the tunnel. Finally Chinook helicopter transported all the workers to Rishikesh AIIMS, where they were kept under observation for about 48 to 72 hours. According to Mr Arnold Dix, an Australian underground expert hired as a consultant by the government it ranked as the toughest tunnel rescue operation he had ever encountered.

Statue of Unity

The most venerated Home Minister, Sardar Ballabh Bhai Patel, took over 565 independent states within India. When Shri Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister, he organised a Run for Unity as a tribute to 63rd Anniversary of his death on 15 December 2013 and had soil and iron collected from all parts of India so that the highest Statue of Unity could be erected at the River Narmada in Gujarat in memory of the Angel of territorial integrity. This poem was written on 31st October 2018 when the Prime Minister inaugurated the Statue in commemoration of 143rd anniversary of the birth of Sardar Ballabh Bhai Patel.

We have for so long worshipped fake ones,
Giving them all the credit for Independence.

As freedom struggle is their main claim to fame.

राजनीति पर यह एक व्यंग्य रचना है जो 10 जून 1988 को लिखी गई थी तथा यह तरुण छत्तीसगढ़ में 16 जुलाई 1988 को प्रकाशित भी हो गयी थी ।

मेरा बेरोज़गार दोस्त भागते हुए आया

हाँफ़ते-हाँफ़ते उसने बताया,

यार, निकली है वान्ट !

अरे ! मैने कहा तू हो जा शांत ।

उसने कुर्सी खींची

बैठकर बढ़ती साँस रोकी ।

फिर बोला,

लीडरों के पद भारी मात्रा में हैं रिक्त

और अपने लिए हैं बिल्कुल उपयुक्त ।

उमर में जिंदगी भर की छूट,

चलो दो पद लावें लूट ।

इसमें चूके

तो रहोगे भूंखे

सच्ची दीवाली

दीवाली त्योहार व्यापार, समृद्धि, प्रेम, उत्साह, आध्यात्म, शांति और सहयोग का प्रतीक है । 28 अगस्त 1988 को इस कविता की रचना इस उद्देश्य से की गई थी कि लोग जैसा राम राज्य में था उसी तरह एक दूसरे के सहयोगी बने ।

दीप खुशियों के ले लो जलाए चलो,
हर गली छान मारो तिमिर ढूँढ लो,
देख लो किस हृदय में है दुख की घनी,
कालिमा रात्रि सी फैलती जा रही,
शीघ्र उनसे वहाँ पर उजाला करो ।
आज ऐसी दीवाली मनाएँ चलो !

प्रेम के अनगिनत दीप लेकर चलो,
है कहाँ पर अंधेरा तलाशो बढ़ो,

 इस दुनिया में न न्याय है, न सद्भावना है साथ ही क्रूरता और अत्याचार की कोई सीमा भी नहीं है। यह भ्रम है कि कोई आपकी सुरक्षा करेगा। यदि कमजोर पड़े तो भेड़िये आप पर टूट पड़ेंगे फिर उन्हें रहम नहीं होगा कि किसे नोच रहे हैं। अतः आपकी सुरक्षा एकमात्र आपका परिवार है। वह जितना बड़ा होगा उतना ही अच्छा होगा किन्तु बड़े होने के साथ अपनेपन के भाव से संगठित होना और भी अनिवार्य है। सनातन एक परिवार है जिसकी मजबूती हर एक सदस्य के ह्रदय में अटल आस्था पर निर्भर है। लोगों के मन मस्तिष्क में आस्था का निर्माण पूजा, भजन, प्रवचन, कथा के माध्यम से साधू, संत, व्यास आदि करते है उनके विरुद्ध घृणा के भाव पैदा करने वाले आपके परिवार के हितैषी नहीं हैं।  

Padma award selection process transformed

Intellectuals and gentlemen are not happy with PM Modi because they expect that the government must treat them as very important people, whereas the PM believes that general public is selfless and the country grows when they work. A few years ago poets, writers and authors did not value the importance of Padma Awards. They started returning them in protest as though the government could not go without them. The Modi government paid no attention to them and preferred to offer the civilian honours to lower class, illiterate artists, performers or craftsmen instead of them. In selection process, it began to place emphasis not on the name of a nominee but on the importance of work. Now the common people are honoured without recommendations. Above all else, the Prime Minister regards the people working selflessly with great respect and expects society to recognize them in other ways as well.

बृहदेश्वर मंदिर

राजराज चोल प्रथम द्वारा तमिलनाडु के तंजौर में स्थित बृहदेश्वर मंदिर का निर्माण 1003-1010 ई के मध्य कराया गया था। इस मंदिर इमारत में नीव नहीं है तथा इसका निर्माण किसी भी प्रकार के चिपकाने वाले पदार्थ के बजाय ग्रेनाइट पत्थरों को एक दूसरे से फंसाकर किया गया था। इसमें 130,000 टन ग्रेनाइट प्रयुक्त हुआ था जिसे 60 किमी की दूरी से लाने में 3000 हाथियों को लगाया गया था। 13 मंजिला मंदिर के गुम्बद की उचाई 216 फ़ीट है जिसकी परछाई पृथ्वी पर नहीं पड़ती। गुम्बद शिखर पर जिस एक मात्र पाषाण खंड पर स्वर्णकलश स्थित है उसका भार लगभग 88 टन है। मंदिर में स्थापित शिवलिंग अत्यंत विशाल व् भव्य है। अतः उन्हें वृहदेश्वर नाम से जाना जाता है। इस मंदिर में नन्दी जी की प्रतिमा 6 मीटर लंबी, 2.6 मीटर चौड़ी तथा 3.7 मीटर ऊंची है जो कि एक ही पत्थर से निर्मित दूसरी सर्वाधिक विशाल प्रतिमा है। अपने समय में मंदिर का गुम्बद दुनिया का सबसे ऊंचा गुम्बद था और मंदिर का विश्व के विशालतम स्मारकों में प्रमुख स्थान था। 1000 वर्षों से अधिक आयु वाले इस स्मारक ने 6 बड़े भूकंप झेले हैं। पिसा की मीनार और बिग बेन इससे कम आयु की हैं फिर भी वे क्षतिग्रस्त होने लगी हैं किन्तु बृहदेश्वर मंदिर में कहीं कोई सिकन तक नहीं आई है। आज यह स्मारक संयुक्त राष्ट्र शैक्षिक, वैज्ञानिक और सांस्कृतिक संगठन (यूनेस्को) के वैश्विक विरासत का हिस्सा है।

Ganesh Chaturthi

A ten-day festival is held, commemorating the birth of the god of prosperity and wisdom, Ganesha. It begins on the fourth day of the bright fortnight of Bhadrapada (generally in mid-August or September). The Ganesha idols are installed in pandals, homes and temples; festivities include singing or playing religious songs, dancing to drum beats and lighting up fireworks; and celebrations go through four main rituals: Pranapratishhtha, Shhodashopachara, Uttarpuja, and Ganpati Visarjan.

Lord Ganesh is the god of money and prosperity. Those who worship him never suffer a setback and live a happy life. May Lord Ganesh shower us with health, wealth and happiness! Happy Ganesh Chaturthi, everyone!

जब-जब सनातन पर संकट आता है तब-तब कोई महापुरुष पैदा होता है और उसे उबार लेता है। 508 ईसा पूर्व आदि गुरु शंकराचार्य ने तथा मुग़ल काल में महाराज तुलसीदास ने सनातन की बुझती लौ को पुनः प्रकाशित किया था। आज एक बार फिर धर्मनिरपेक्षता के वेश में अधर्म व्यापक रूप में फ़ैल चुका है। प्रधानमंत्री मोदी जी का जन्म हो न हो इसे समाप्त करने के लिए ही हुआ है। समर्थ, कीर्तिवान एवं व्यापक लोकप्रिय प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी जी को जन्मदिन की हार्दिक शुभकामनाएं। ईश्वर आपको दीर्घायु, उत्तम स्वास्थ्य सहित पूर्वनिर्धारित विशाल लक्ष्य प्राप्त करने में सफलता प्रदान करे !

भोजन जब भरपूर मिला तब शेर पड़ा उठ खड़ा हुआ,

जिसने आँख दिखाई उसको गरजा भीषण झपट पड़ा ।

वह परम तपस्वी दर्शी दूर था दृढ संकल्पी, निष्ठावान,

Happy Birthday to the most Celebrated Prime Minister

 

I wrote this nice little poem as a birthday present for Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday, 16 September 2014, the day before his birthday.

The mother is happy to give birth to a wonderful son
Because her baby boy later engaged the attention of his second mother,
Who watched him carefully and started nourishing
His talents and his power to invent.
The child never ever disappoints her,
So she too is happy to give birth to him.
This rare boy developed the sea of love in his heart
To share with the children of every mother in the country.
While others court popularity by presenting themselves
As the messiah of a particular community
And shrink, as they hold office, from their responsibilities,
Laying their loyalties with their family and the people of their own caste,
This generous, selfless and well-liked son wins the hearts of the nation,
Though he favours his family, too – but his family is the whole country –
Though he discriminates against the other community, too –
But that community consists of insurgents and the dregs of humanity.
Now both the mothers are proud of their son.

Bharat, India and Hindustan

The River Sindhu was called Hindu by Persians because they pronounce S as H. Persians named the people living on the sides of the river as Hindus. Slowly this Persian word 'Hindu' migrated to Arabia by the 13th century and thereafter to Europe through Greece. Europeans dropped both S and H and called the river 'Indu' or later on 'Indus'. Then they added their own style of suffix –ian to Indu and formed Indian. Hindustan or India emerged as the alternative names of Bharat. Thus Hindu, Hindustan, Hinduism or Indian and India became the popular word across the world. ‘Sindhu Ghati ki Sabhyata’ was translated as ‘The Indus Valley Civilisation’ in the early 1900s, when it was discovered by a British archaeologist named John Marshall. Since the term ‘India’ had become popular, Christopher Columbus set about on a journey to discover this famed land in 1492, but his ship docked in North America. He unknowingly called the island Indies and the people who lived there Red Indian. Later on, Europeans depersonalized the Indians and treated them unkindly, so did the British here. This way India or Hindustan is not the real name of our country.

अभ्युत्थानमधर्मस्य तदात्मानं सृजाम्यहम्

O Bharat, whenever faith and values degenerate
And sin & evil rise, as a man I become incarnate.

Here Krishna addresses Arjun as Bharat: that is to say, a descendant from the Bharat race, as in Rigveda Bharat is mentioned as one of the main kingdoms of the Aryavarta. Bharat also originates from the epic Mahabharat, according to which Bharatvarsha was named after the legendary emperor Bharat, the son of King Dushyanta of Hastinapur and Queen Sakuntala. His Empire stretched from the sea on the south to the southern extremities of the Himalayas.

उत्तरं यत्समुद्रस्य हिमाद्रेश्चैव दक्षिणम् ।
वर्षं तद् भारतं नाम भारती यत्र संततिः ।।

Now that we belong to the Bharat race, so Bharatvarsh is the real name of our country.

G20 Summit 2023 New Delhi

India is the President country of the G20 Summit 2023 New Delhi, which is the 18th meeting of the G20 Group held in Bharat Mandapam International Exhibition-Convention Centre at Pragati Maidan on 9th and 10th September 2023, with the theme Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. Heads of Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States and European Union will discuss the various issues related to the Finance, Economy, Environment, Cryptocurrencies and others. The Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi greeted all the participating dignitaries against the backdrop of a mural of Konark Sun temple wheel in Odisha. Then at the beginning of the meeting, all of the members accepted PM Modi’s proposal of granting African Union a permanent membership. The Group will now be known as G21.

G20 passed Delhi declaration unanimously with a 100 percent consensus, overcoming major differences on the Russia-Ukraine war, as Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi called for ending global trust deficit. The Prime Minister launched the Global Bio-fuels Alliance of Brazil, Bharat, and the United States that will work together to produce and consume bio-fuels, along with other interested countries. The Prime Minister and President Joe Biden co-chaired a special event on Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment, in which Bharat, US, EU, Saudi Arabia and UAE, clinched a deal to set up ‘The India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor’ comprised of an Eastern Corridor connecting India to the Gulf region and a Northern Corridor connecting the Gulf region to Europe. It will include a railway and ship-rail transit network and road transport routes. President Joe Biden said, “I want to thank PM Modi for the real big deal, which is in sync with the current G20’s theme of ‘One Earth, One Family, One Future’.”

G20 special dinner has been hosted by the Honourable President of Bharat, Apart from foreign leaders and head of delegates, cabinet ministers, union ministers, minister of states, secretaries in the central government, distinguished guests, former Prime Ministers: Dr Manmohan Singh and H D Deve Gowda and Chief Ministers of all the states have been invited to the gala dinner held at the multi-function hall of Bharat Mandapam Saturday, Sept 09. President Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi received the foreign guests standing against the backdrop of Nalanda University which was destroyed by the Muslim invaders. It aimed to show the world that we are not new intellectuals but the source of knowledge itself. G20 dignitaries enjoyed Bharateeya cuisine and music performed by 78 artists, showcasing country’s rich musical heritage.

The people who lived in North, South, or Central America are called Indians. When Europeans arrived there, they started using these uncivilized people as slaves. They used to scorn them, depersonalize them and treat them unkindly. Similarly, the British had no respect for the Bharateeya; they treated us not as humans but as if our individual feelings and thoughts were not important. It was because of this that they started calling us Indians. To be associated with the term ‘India’ is to be constantly reminded of the slavery under British colonial rule. The second of the five pledges that PM Modi has asked the countrymen to make is to erase all traces of servitude until the end of the Amritkaal. Now we have built our own parliament building on which the lions are no more naive and submissive.

September fifth is the Anniversary of the birth of the second president DR Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. India celebrates his birthday as Teachers' Day, commemorating the importance of teachers in our lives. Dr Radhakrishnan was born on September 5, 1888. He was a scholar, philosopher, educationist and a Bharat Ratna. He served as the Vice-Chancellor of Andhra University from 1931 to 1936 and the Vice-Chancellor of Banaras Hindu University in 1939. He had been a teacher at Chennai’s Presidency College and Calcutta University.

Bridges and buildings build engineers,

Architect makes their work yet easier,

Doctors treat the injured and the ill,

Soldiers shoot enemy troops to kill,

Poets sing to make us laugh and cry,

Scientists raise our standards high,

But teachers do all of these things:

Reach new heights they give us wings.

A special session of Parliament from September 18 to 22 was called on 31 August 2023 and it is expected that the Centre might introduce bills on 'One Nation, One Election', Uniform Civil Code and Women's Reservation in the special session. Next day, the Government announced the setting up of a high-level committee under former President Ram Nath Kovind to explore the feasibility of synchronizing elections for Parliamentary general elections with Assembly, Municipal and Panchyat Elections.

‘One country, one election’ is not a new thing. After Independence, National and State elections were held simultaneously in 1957, 1962 and 1967. Some legislative assemblies were dissolved prematurely in 1968 and 1969 and in 1970 the Parliament too was dissolved. Anyway, the continuity of the synchronized elections completely broke by 1972 when no Assembly election coincided with Parliamentary elections. The Election Commission of India had put forward a proposal of simultaneous election in 1983 but the then Indira Gandhi government rejected it. BJP’s 2014 election manifesto mentions it; and this issue has resurfaced since Narendra Modi took office as Prime Minister.

Belgium, Sweden and South Africa are the three countries in the world where simultaneous elections are held. Nepal has the experience of holding national and state elections simultaneously once in 2017.

Organizing state assembly and Lok Sabha elections simultaneously may reduce election expenditure but complexities could arise if any state government collapses or gets dissolved before their scheduled five-year term. Synchronized elections will enable the government to devote more time to governance rather than to winning the polls, but it is not that easy to bring in a new law like ‘One Nation One Election’ as the government would have to get an amendment to the Constitution passed in each house of Parliament by a two-thirds majority along with ratification by at least half of the state legislatures. If it becomes possible to hold elections simultaneously, the black money which is heavily used in elections will reduce significantly. National unity and harmony bring prosperity and power. Every election divides people, causing a serious rise in the levels of casteism and hostility to different groups. Continuous elections must end, as they are a threat to the integrity of the nation.

Aditya –L1

India has launched Aditya –L1 from the launch pad at Sriharikota under its first Solar Mission to study the Sun today at 11.50. It will travel four months, covering one percent of the distance between the Earth and the Sun i. e. 1.5 million km, to reach Lagrange point 1, where the gravitational forces of the Sun and the Earth cancel each other out. The spacecraft will travel several times around the Earth before heading towards L1, at which it will orbit the Sun at the same rate as the Earth and it will require very little fuel. Moreover, L1is a place from where Aditya will be able to watch and carry out scientific studies constantly without being interrupted by eclipses. The mission is expected to cost approximately 3.78 billion rupees. The orbiter carries seven scientific instruments that will observe and study the outermost layer of the Sun, the Sun's surface and the thin layer of plasma that lies between the Layer and the surface. The studies will help scientists understand solar activities, such as solar wind and solar flares, and their effect on Earth and near-space weather in real time. If Aditya-L1 is successful, India will join Japan, US and European Space Agency that are already studying the Sun.

Rakshabandhan

Rakshabandhan is celebrated on the last day of the month of Shravan which mainly falls in August. On this day, sisters tie an amulet called rakhi around the wrists of their brothers as a symbol of the bond of protection and obligation. Sanatan culture defines every relationship as a divine bond between members of a family, which ultimately generates a sense of having natural obligations to each other and makes the family live comfortably. Father loves his son and daughter and brings them up, so does a mother; but the relationship between a brother and his sister is such that involves deep feelings and self-sacrificing attributes. A sister cares for her brother and a brother can do anything to protect his sister.

Bhaiya is used to describe someone that one feel a great affection for. But it exceeds every level of feeling when our sister calls us Bhaiya. We feel a surge of emotion at the thought of Raksha Bandhan; then as our most loving sister ties Raksha around our wrist, we fail to hide the warm feelings that we are overcome with. It is not the reshmi string but the love itself: the pious love between a brother and his sister. It is a carrier that transports our sister’s best wishes for our long and safe life. Oh how we love our sweet little sister! Happy Raksha Bandhan, everyone!

We celebrate the bond of love and protection on Raksha Bandhan, a festival of deep emotions of love and care which siblings express. Sister ties a sacred string around the wrist of her brother to ensure that he be safe from all harms. She also puts a Tilak on his forehead praying that God shower him with blessings of health, happiness and success. The brother who thinks the world of his sister is naturally responsible for watching and protecting his sister. May the warmth of affection between brothers and sisters continue to flourish forever and this Raksha Bandhan spread its emotional message across the country and bring our brothers and sisters love, life and happiness!

तुलसी जयन्ती

राम चरित मानस एक अदभुद महाकाव्य है क्योंकि उसमें मानव जीवन से सम्बंधित सभी प्रश्नो के उत्तर हैं तथा कोई ऐसा भारतीय ग्रंथ नहीं है जिसका सार उसमें निहित नहीं है । ऐसे ग्रंथ के रचनाकार महाराज तुलसी दास जी की आज जयन्ती है। इस शुभ अवसर पर मैं अनुश्री की एक कविता के कुछ अंश के माध्यम से उनके जीवन के विषय में कुछ महत्वपूर्ण बातें यहाँ प्रस्तुत करता हूँ ।
पराधीन जनता भारत की त्रसित कई सदियों से थी,
धैर्य स्वयं ने धीरज खोया, धर्म की अन्तः नीव हिली ।
लगा देश की जीवन पद्धिति सदा-सदा मिट जाएगी,
भारत की पहिचान नहीं इस दुनिया में बच पाएंगी ।
धैर्य बँधाए ऐसे में था ऐसा कोई व्यक्ति नहीं,
बुझते दीपक पुनः जलाने की थी कोई युक्ति नहीं ।
सनातनो की देख दुर्दशा भगवत का जी द्रवित हुआ,
उनकी न्यायपालिका में उस पर विचार भी त्वरित हुआ ।
राजापुर बांदा में रहता दुबे एक दंपत्ति सुखी,
पंद्रह सौ चौवन संबत था श्रावण शुक्ल सत्तमी थी ।
बारह माह गर्भ का बच्चा माता हुलसी ने जन्मा,
अभुक्त मूल में पैदा शिशु ने राम कहा भूला रोना ।
विधुर बाप ने त्यागा उसको अति अनिष्ट की शंका से,
हुआ वही संयोग बना जो ईश्वर की अनुकंपा से ।
गृहकार्य नहीं उसको तो कोई और कार्य ही करना था,
पिता आत्मा राम दुबे के घर से बाहर होना था ।
आगे चलकर दैव योग से स्वामी नरहरि गुरु मिला,
ज्ञान रश्मियाँ उनकी पाकर बालक पंकज पूर्ण खिला ।
जैसा नाम राम बोला था राम राम ही बोल उठा,
राम कथा उसकी सुन करके जन मानस भी डोल उठा ।
पान किया फिर उसी शिष्य ने रामायण की रस धारा,
नाम दिया गुरुदेव ने 'तुलसी' उस बालक को अति प्यारा ।
वह किशोर फिर आया काशी वेदाध्ययन करने हेतू,
पंद्रह वर्ष वहाँ पर रहकर बना ज्ञान का दृढ़ सेतू ।

ज्ञान दिया पत्नी ने कहकर तीब्र व्यंग्य वाणी उनको,
प्रेम धार इमि मोड़ दिया अनुराग जगा उनमें प्रभु सों ।
जिस कार्य हेतु वे आए थे उसको तो पूरा करना था,
भटके हुए राह पर उनको ठोकर आख़िर लगना था ।
चित्रकूट, काशी, प्रयाग पश्चात अवध को वे आए,
राम भक्ति का भाव उमड़ता उर में कैसे थम पाए ।
संबत सोलह सौ एक्तिस था, मधूमास के मधु दिन थे,
पर्व राम की नौमी आई उल्लासित नारी-नर थे ।

प्यार पाकर भी अपनों से नफ़रत

लात खाकर भी मालिक से उल्फ़त।

गुलाम इसीलिए गुलाम होता है,

स्वाभिमानी मालिक महान होता है।

देखिये अनुश्री इसे कैसे सिद्ध करती है :

दरवाजे पर कातर आँखों से निहारता,

एक टूक रोटी को टुकुर-टुकुर ताकता,

धूल में उलट जाता, दुम हिलाता,

वफादारी की पूं पूं फिर पैर चाटता ।

अपने भाई को नोच डालता,

प्राण निछावर कर देता –

किसके खातिर ? – बस एक टूक रोटी !

रात जागता थोड़ा सोता मेरा प्यारा मोती ।

थर्राता सारा जंगल जब दहाड़ता ।

दिल की दीवालें हिलतीं हैं,                         

खुद भोजन सम्मुख गिर जातें हैं,

साहस, दुस्साहस की जड़ें उखाड़ता ।

पालता पोषता प्यार से परिवार को,

77 वां स्वतंत्रता दिवस

 स्वामी परमानंद शिक्षा निकेतन, खम्हरिया शुक्ल – बहराइच

"स्वामी परमानंद शिक्षा निकेतन, खम्हरिया शुक्ल" में 77वां स्वतंत्रता दिवस बड़े ही हर्षोल्लास से मनाया गया। बड़ी संख्या में बच्चों एवं उनके अभिभावकों ने इस महोत्सव में भाग लिया, प्रभात फेरी निकाली गई। स्कूल प्रबंध समिति के सर्वशी शीतल प्रसाद अग्रवाल, मस्त राम, कृष्ण मोहन अग्रवाल, रमेश चन्द्र तिवारी, विजय यादव, सनत कुमार शुक्ल सहित विद्यालय के अध्यापकों और छात्रों की उपस्थिति में अध्यक्ष श्री मोहन लाल गोयल ने झंडा रोहण किया। श्री हरिनाथ प्रसाद मिश्र (प्रधानाचार्य), श्री अनिल कुमार बाजपेयी (सहायक प्रधानाचार्य), तथा अध्यापक गण सर्वश्री राकेश कुमार श्रीवास्तव, पंकज कुमार शुक्ल, श्रीमती मीना श्रीवास्तव के नियंत्रण में दो बच्चों ने राष्ट्र गान कराया। ‘भारत माता की जय’, ‘बन्दे मातरम’ तथा ‘परम पूज्य गुरुदेव की जय’ उद्घोष से वातावरण में राष्ट्र-प्रेम की लहर फ़ैल गयी। इसके पश्चात् सभी ने परमपूज्य गुरुदेव की आरती की। छोटे-छोटे बच्चों ने सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम, कविता पाठ, भाषण आदि प्रस्तुत किये। समिति की और से सभी बच्चों को स्कूल बैग एवं स्कूल ड्रेस दिए गए। अंत में मिठाइयां बांटी गयीं और बड़े प्रसन्न वातावरण में कार्यक्रम संपन्न हुए।

हर घर झंडा, हर घर तिरंगा 2023

 

माननीय प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी के आवाहन पर 15 अगस्त 2022 के 75 सप्ताहों पूर्व से सम्पूर्ण देश में देशवासी आजादी के 75वीं वर्षगाँठ को अमृत महोसव के रूप में विभिन्न सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों के माध्यम से मना रहे थे । इसी बीच 31 जुलाई 2022 को उन्होंने जनता से अपने-अपने घरों पर 13 अगस्त से 15 अगस्त तक तिरंगा फहराने की अपील की थी। आसमान से देश इंद्र धनुषी रंग में रंग गया था और लोगों में राष्ट्रीय भावना का अदभुद संचार हुआ था। उनके आवाहन पर इस वर्ष भी आज देश ने 'हर घर झंडा, हर घर तिरंगा' मनाया। इस महोत्सव के उपलक्ष्य में अखिल भारतीय साहित्य परिषद् के तत्वावधान में रमेश चन्द्र तिवारी के निवास पर राष्ट्रवादी कवि सम्मलेन का आयोजन हुआ जिसमें जनपद के प्रसिद्द कवि भाइयों ने ओजस्वी कवितायेँ पढ़ीं। सभाध्यक्ष श्री राधा कृष्ण पाठक ने भारत माता की आरती तथा माँ भारती की वंदना के साथ कार्यक्रम प्रारम्भ किया। “शुभ्र स्वच्छ आवरण, मोह का करो हरण, ब्रह्मा की सुता हो, ज्ञान गंगा में नहाती हो। हंस पे सवार कर स्फटिक हार, मातु तार झंकार वीणा वादिनी कहाती हो ।“अखिल भारतीय साहित्य परिषद् के उपाध्यक्ष श्री गुलाब चन्द्र जायसवाल ने देश-प्रेम की कविता पढ़ी : “आन-वान शान तिरंगा इस पर सबके मान चाहिए, बलिदानी वीरों के गौरव पर अभिमान चाहिए।“ आयोजक, अखिल भारतीय साहित्य परिषद् के जिला महामंत्री, रमेश चन्द्र तिवारी ने अपनी लोकप्रिय पुस्तक अनुश्री की राष्ट्र खंड की एक कविता पढ़ी : "आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव, भारत के सपनों का उत्सव, उल्लासित जन चलो मनायें, चलो तिरंगा सब फहरायें। राष्ट्र रंग दें एक रंग में, जय हो जय हो एक संग में।" अवधी के प्रसिद्द कवि श्री देशराज सिंह ने राष्ट्र के प्रति निष्ठां के भाव जागृत करने वाली कविता पढ़ी : “राष्ट्र रक्षार्थ हमको जागना होगा, मखमली बिस्तर सुखों का त्यागना होगा ।“ सोमेश सावन ने पढ़ा : “मातु भारती के चरणों में हुए अर्पित, एक एक वीर हिन्दुस्तानी है ।“ डा. अशोक गुलशन ने कविता पढ़ते हुए कहा : “अब कहीं कोई झगड़ा न दंगा रहे, हर शहर गाँव हर घर तिरंगा रहे।“ सर्वश्री बैजनाथ सिंह, राम गोपाल चौधरी, रमेश कुमार मिश्र, सेनानी भवन बहराइच, धनञ्जय सिंह, जिलाध्यक्ष हिन्दू जागरण मंच, बजरंग कुमार मिश्र, धनञ्जय कुमार शर्मा जैसे श्रेष्ठ वक्ता ने राष्ट्र भावना को प्रेरित करने वाले वक्तब्य से राष्ट्र प्रेम की धारा प्रवाहित की।

International Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre

 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the International Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre complex and unveiled its new name --Bharat Mandapam at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi on Wednesday, 26 July 2023. The inaugural ceremony was attended by around 3,000 guests including Union Ministers Piyush Goyal, Rajnath Singh, Dr Jitendra Singh, actor Aamir Khan. The Prime Minister made offerings to gods i.e. Havan and attended Puja ceremony prior to the inauguration. He also interacted with the workers who were involved in the construction of the complex and then felicitated them. The revamped IECC complex was developed as a national project at a cost of about Rs 2,700 crore and has a campus area of approximately 123 acres. Bharat Mandapam has been developed as India's largest MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) destination. The complex ranks among the world's leading exhibition and convention complexes in terms of its extensive covered space for hosting events. Its majestic multi-purpose hall and plenary hall have a combined capacity of seven thousand people, which is larger than the seating capacity of the famous Sydney Opera House in Australia. Its magnificent amphitheatre is equipped with a seating capacity of 3,000 individuals. The Convention Centre also has a range of advanced facilities, such as a fully Wi-Fi-covered campus enabled with 5G technology and 10G Intranet connectivity. Among its offerings is an interpreter room equipped with cutting-edge technology supporting 16 different languages.

Chandrayan-3

 

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) embarked on the third Lunar Mission after the second mission had failed in 2019 owing to the crash of lander named Vikram on to the moon surface. Today it launched Chandrayan-3 from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. The LVM-3, the heavy rocket, carried the 3.8-tonne spacecraft, which is now on the way to the moon and is expected to complete its journey on August 23. Chandrayaan-3 is equipped with a lander, a rover and a propulsion module. Congratulations to our ISRO on completing the first step successfully towards a safe landing on the surface of the moon.

अखिल भारतीय साहित्य परिषद् - बहराइच

 

अखिल भारतीय साहित्य परिषद् सम्पूर्ण देश में साहित्यिक कार्यक्रमों के माध्यम से भारतीय परंपरा एवं जीवन पद्यति की वर्ष भर नई पीढ़ी को शिक्षा देता रहता तथा इस प्रकार उसे सुसंकृत करता रहता है। इसी क्रम में राम जानकी मंदिर, हमजापुर में अखिल भारतीय साहित्य परिषद् - बहराइच के तत्वावधान में व्यास पूर्णिमा या गुरु पूर्णिमा मनाई गई। उपस्थित भक्तों ने महर्षि वेदव्यास तथा अपने गुरु देवों की पूजा आरती की। साहित्य परिषद् की ओर से इस अवसर पर एक सरस काव्य गोष्ठी भी की गई जिसका आयोजन परिषद् के प्रांतीय उपाध्यक्ष गुलाब चन्द्र जायसवाल तथा जिलामहामंत्री रमेश चन्द्र तिवारी द्वारा के द्वारा किया गया। गोष्ठी परिषद् के जिलाध्यक्ष श्री शिव कुमार सिंह रैकवार जी की अध्यक्षता में संपन्न हुई जिसमें डा दिनेश त्रिपाठी शम्स मुख्य अतिथि थे। कवियों ने महर्षि वेदव्यास को समर्पित तथा गुरु महात्म्य पर आधारित गीत गाये। राष्ट्रीयता विषय के प्रसिद्द रचनाकार गुलाब चन्द्र जायसवाल ने महर्षि वेदव्यास का परिचय देते हुए पंक्तियाँ प्रस्तुत की "है वेद रचा और ब्रह्म सूत्र गीता जैसा अदभुद सुग्रंथ, पग-पग पर दर्शाया करते महाभारत हमको पूज्य पंथ। अंतिम भागवत पुराण रचा श्री वेदव्यास महान संत।" रुचि मटरेजा ने पावस गीत गाया "रिमझिम बारिश की फुहार, हम सब गायें मल्हार।" रमेश चन्द्र तिवारी ने गीता, भागवत पुराण के रचयिता तथा वेदों के विभाजन कर्ता महाराज व्यास जी की वंदना की "हे महाकवी, चिरकाल कवी, हे काव्य रूप कवि शिरोमणी, ज्ञान रूप हे महर्षि व्यास, हे कवि तारों में दीप्त रवी, तुमको नमन करूँ मैं पुनि-पुनि, नमन करूँ पुनि नमन करूँ।" विनय शुक्ल जीवन के यथार्थ को उजागर किया "चार पैसे, चार लोग, चार बातें, चार कंधे - बस यही जीवन।" शाश्वत सिंह पवार कविता पढ़ते हुए कहा "एक दिन तो झुकायेंगे अर्जुन का सर, सारे एकलब्य हैं साधना कर रहे।" विमलेश जायसवाल विमल ने अपनी कविता पढ़ी "जो प्रीति नहीं कर सकता घूंघट का व्यापार करे, बाहों को बदल-बदल कर जीने की लाचारी है।" डा दिनेश त्रिपाठी शम्स शेर पेश किया "खुद से यदि प्रारम्भ न हो बदलाव कोई, युग परिवर्तन के सारे अभियान अधूरे हैं।" शिव कुमार सिंह रैकवार ने अवधी गीत गाया "नभ के अँगनवाँ में ठुमके बदरिया, रंगधानी धरती के लहकै चुनरिया।" बैजनाथ सिंह भक्ति रचना प्रस्तुत की "मेरा सारा जीवन बीते सीताराम लिखते लिखते, मेरा प्राण जब भी निकले प्रभु राम रटते रटते।" राकेश कुमार रस्तोगी विवेकी सद्गुरु वंदना की "सारे तीरथ धाम आपके चरणों में, हे गुरुदेव प्रणाम आपके चरणों में।" डा अशोक गुलशन ने गजल पेश करते हुए शुरुवात की "बिना लिए गुरुदक्षिणा जो देता है ज्ञान, सच्चा शिक्षक है वही, शिक्षक वही महान।" छोटे लाल गुप्त ने भजन प्रस्तुत किया "जो लाखों की विगड़ी बनाई न होती, तो हमने ये अर्जी लगाई न होती।" सुभाषित श्रीवास्तव अकिंचन ने चाँद शेर पढ़े "चाहते हो अगर रोशनी, शमआ दिल की जला दीजिये।" इस अवसर पर पुण्डरीक पांडेय, प्रताप नारायण पाठक, बुद्धि सागर पांडेय, शिव प्रसाद आदि बहुत से श्रोता उपस्थित रहे।

Bhagavad Gita Chapter 2 Verse 50: “Yogah Karmasu Kaushalam” – Yoga increases our ability and dexterity at work. It also connects us with divine providence and then helps us being one with Brahman. On 9th International Yoga Day today, mass demonstration of Yoga has been organized at different places across the country. PM Modi will lead the celebrations of the International Day of Yoga at the United Nations Headquarters today at 5.00 pm. People from more than 180 countries will join him in the celebration that is based on the theme “Basudhaiv Kutumbakam” (the whole world is a family) and it will be his first celebration of Yoga Day in a foreign country.

The Parties Boycotting the Inauguration of the New Parliament

The first Prime Minister made fun of the holy sengol because Indian tradition was a meaningless thing to him. It remained mislabelled as ‘the golden walking stick gifted to Nehru’ for years at the Allahabad Museum. PM Modi honoured the seers of Adeenam Mutt at his residence, placed great emphasis on the importance of the sacred Sengol and finally installed it in the Lok Sabha chamber, right next to the Speaker's chair, in the new Parliament building after havan puja ceremony. Furthermore, the parties that boycotted the ceremony to unveil the new Parliament do not want India to restore its pride and glory but rather want to cherish the memory of the slavery with a view to appease those who had lost their names, their faith, their identity and their self-esteem during the long period of subjection. On the contrary, PM Shri Narendra Modi erased one more mark of foreign rule and made another move towards making the freedom fighters’ dreams come true by inaugurating the new parliament building on the anniversary of the birth of the great patriot Veer Savarkar, as the old one was constructed between (1921-1927) in the colonial period and it was designed by British architects Sir Edwin Lutyens and Herbert Baker.

21 seers of Dharmapuram Adheenam from Chennai had handed over Sengol to Prime Minister at his residence on Saturday evening (27 May) before it was carried by PM Shri Narendra Modi to new Parliament building in a procession with the chants of ‘nadaswaram’ the next morning on Sunday (May 28). He prostrated himself before the Sengol and with Lok Sabha Speaker, Om Birla, performed a havan, puja as a ceremony to inaugurate the new Parliament building. High priests of Adheenams offered flowers to the historic sceptre and gave it to the Prime Minister, who installed it near the Lok Sabha Speaker’s chair in the new Parliament building. The Prime Minister sought blessings from them, after that unveiled the plaque to mark the inauguration of the much-awaited new Parliament building. He also felicitated the workers who contributed to the construction of the new Parliament House. Finally, PM Modi, Speaker Om Birla and Cabinet ministers attended a 'Sarv-dharma' prayer ceremony being held at the new building. They also paid floral tributes to Savarkar's portrait in the Central Hall after the inauguration ceremony. The ceremony was boycotted by over 20 opposition parties, including the Congress, Shiv Sena (UBT), AAP, Trinamool Congress (TMC), and the Janata Dal (United).
