  The Honourable Prime Minister Shri #NarendraModi addressed the people of India for ninth consecutive time from Red Fort today on 76th Independence Day and called on people to take five vows to make the country self-reliant and to bring her power and prosperity in the Amrit Kaal (25 years between the 75th and 100th anniversaries of Independence). Har Ghar Tiranga - Poetry Reading

   Our National Flag is the symbol of our pride and joy; it represents our loyalty to the country and our love and respect for it. The country has been celebrating the 75th anniversary of Independence for last 75 weeks. On Saturday August13, I hoisted our National Flag on the top of my house under Har Ghar Tiranga campaign in celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and organized a poetry reading in the evening under the auspices of Akhil Bharateey Sahitya Parishad in commemoration of our ancestors, who sacrificed their lives in freedom struggles. Shri Radhakrishna Pathak chaired the meeting and Shri Lakshami Kant Tripathi conducted the rendering of poems.
