Today you have one more of my short stories under the title ‘Relations’ which has just appeared in the Criterion. Have a read of it and see how we dislike sharing our belongings with anybody else: even with our own brothers or sisters. In our society, the poor love to entertain their guests but the middle and the upper classes do not because they are too possessive about their luxury items. The story unfolds against a background of rural life and then tells of how incompatibility problem prevents rural and urban life going together. It also includes a delicious love episode. I wish a Happy Birthday to the Prime Minister, who has endeared himself to his fellow countrymen, has a lot of real love for the whole country and lives not for living a life but for the sake of the nation! कांग्रेस के लोग दस दस पंद्रह पंद्रह वर्षों तक प्रधान मंत्री की कुर्सी पर बैठे रहते हैं – पता नहीं कौन सा घी खा कर आते हैं कि थकते नहीं | बीजेपी का प्रधान मंत्री तो केवल चार साढ़े चार वर्षों में ही थक कर चूर हो जाता है | सामान्यतः पार्टियाँ यह सोचती हैं कि सवर्णो की संख्या बहुत कम है उपर से वे वोट डालने भी कम ही जाते हैं अतः उसकी ओर ध्यान देना बहुत ज़रूरी नहीं है | हाँ , उसके खिलाफ कुछ करके चुनाव ज़रूर जीता जा सकता है क्योंकि एक बड़ी संख्या में दलित व पिछड़ा वर्ग उससे घृणा करता है | खैर , इन्हें यह पता नहीं है कि सवर्ण वोट तो उतना नहीं डालने जाता है लेकिन एक बड़ी संख्या में वोटरों को मोड़ देता है | कांग्रेस ने इसी के दम पर निर्वाध राज किया और जब जब यह वर्ग बीजेपी के साथ जुड़ गया वही कांग्रेस ज़मीन पर आ गयी | बहन मायावती जी इसी के दम पर मुख्य मंत्री बनी थीं | बाद में जब उन्होने इस वर्ग को धोखा दिया वे राजनीति से गायब हो गयीं | इसी वर्ग ने विश्वनाथ प्रताप सिंह को प्रधान मंत्री बनाया और जब उन्होने इस वर्ग का पैर काटा तो उनका नाम लेने वाला कोई नहीं रह गया | 2014 में इसी वर्ग के भक्तों ने ...

शायद ही कोई ऐसा देश रहा हो जो ब्रिटिश कालोनी नहीं था | एक समय आया जब एक के बाद दूसरे आज़ाद होने लगे | जो भी देश आज़ाद हुआ उसकी प्राथमिकता नागरिकों की शिक्षा थी | इस तरह शिक्षित नागरिक अपने देश को सशक्त व विकसित करने में लग गये | परन्तु जब हिन्दुस्तान आज़ाद हुआ तो यहाँ एक परिवार ने सदैव सत्ता में बने रहने को प्राथमिकता दी और देश के नागरिकों को इसलिए अशिक्षित बनाए रखा ताकि वे उसकी सस्ती और समाज बाँटने की राजनीति के जाल से बाहर न निकल सकें | परिणाम यह हुआ कि आज अशिक्षा की वजह से देश जनसंख्या के भार से दब चुका है : वेरोज़गारी, अव्यवस्था, सामाजिक घृणा, तुष्टिकरण की राजनीति, भुखमरी, बीमारी - अब इन सबका कोई इलाज़ नहीं है | ईश्वर ही इस देश को चला सकता है, मनुष्य के वश से सब कुछ निकल चुका है | अनुसूचित जाति जनजाति अत्याचार क़ानून सही अर्थों में राष्ट्रीय अत्याचार क़ानून है क्योंकि इससे किसी का भला नहीं होने वाला है बल्कि आराजकता, हिंसा, उत्पीड़न देश में जंगल के आग की तरह फैल जाने की पूरी संभावना है | इस तरह के जितने क़ानून हैं वे सभी कांग्रेस माता के या तो पुत्र हैं या तो उसके पौत्र हैं | बीजे...
