Read 'Snippets of Life Music' and see the appalling conditions in which a poverty-stricken family lives. The patriarch does not have a thatched roof or even a green tree to lie under, in the shade. This man is poor even though he owns land and property only because he is not resourceful. The Poverty Trap tells of a devoted son who dedicates the significant part of his life to improving the lot his family members but at last he fails because they squander money and opportunities out of habit.
