About the Book
‘A
Discovery of Society’ presents peculiar pictures of society through twenty
amazing stories, which offer answers to some complicated cultural, spiritual
and philosophical questions, convey exotic ideas in a surprisingly entertaining
manner, update young people on a better way to a successful life, deal with
religious issues, open a world of fantasy and horror, expose the corrupt
practices that exist in the system and instil the sweet pain of love. Readers
cannot help being astonished to see themselves in the stories. A wide variety
of themes in the book cater for diverse interests. Some stories soothe and
refresh a tired mind; some of them are thought-provoking; some chase away
worries and fear by showing how things are not as severe as they seem; some
others intrigue, enthral readers by tickling their imagination; but all of them
leave an indelible impression on the audience.
Diverting and delightful travelling-companion
A Discovery of Society expresses your opinion.
“A lot many drink and dance,
Another group prays and chants.
This is society
That has people of astonishing variety.
The world is both appealing and appalling -
Don’t be shocked at brawling or falling.
'A Discovery of Society' tells of both
Which you love, which you loathe.”
Like a butterfly feeding on them spend a few hours.
With the smell of blossoms the garden is perfumed;
To the tastes of both young and old the book is tuned.
Like alcohol the stories will act quickly on your brain;
A single one is enough to ease your mind, your pain.’
-Poet Ramesh Tiwari
