रामचरित मानस विश्व का निष्पक्ष, निर्मल, सम्पूर्ण व् मानव कल्याणकारी ग्रन्थ है । पूर्वाग्रह से ग्रस्त कुछ लोगों को इस पवित्र महाकाब्य की एक चौपाई पर आपत्ति है : ढोल, गंवार, सूद, पशु, नारी, सकल ताड़ना के अधिकारी । इस चौपाई में दण्ड की मात्रा ढोल का उदहारण देकर बताई गयी है । हमारी परंपरा के अनुसार ढोल को हाथ से बजाकर संगीत निकाला जाता है न कि डंडे से । अर्थात हाथ से जितनी चोट ढोल पर की जाती है उतनी चोट देकर उन्मत्त गंवार, सूद, पशु या नारी को अनुशासित करने के लिए किया जाना अनिवार्य है । हमारी भाषा में अशिक्षित को गंवार कहा जाता है । सूद का तात्पर्य उस व्यक्ति से होता है जिसमें ईश्वर का भय नहीं होता है परिणामस्वरूप वह अनियंत्रित होता है या सामाजिक मर्यादाओं का उलंघन करता है । ध्यान रहे यहाँ सूद शब्द से किसी विशेष जाति व् वर्ग से कोई सम्बन्ध नहीं है । हिंदी में स्त्री को महिला, औरत, भामिनी, तरुणी, वनिता, नारी आदि अनेक शब्दों से सम्बोधित किया जाता है परन्तु इसमें प्रत्येक शब्द स्त्री के एक विशिष्ट स्वरुप की अभिव्यक्ति करते हैं । नारी प्रायः उस युवती को कहा जाता है जो कामुकता में विवेकहीन हो...

It reveals how a man full of himself causes problem not only for others but also for himself. And the moral to the story is that prejudice floats on the surface of deep ignorance, so a normal life is possible to have by staying away from it or by expanding the area of generosity and love.

Deepawali is not a festival but a divine revelation. Sanatana is precisely not a religion but Human Dharm that has lent imperatives to every religion that cannot have its identity unless it is border by a particular system of belief. Ram and Deepawali are not the parts of a religion but all religions are the parts of them and therefore they have relationship with every human being. There are a very few distrustful people who say that PM Modi squandered money on Statue of Unity. There are certain others who associate it with the park built by former Chief Minister Mayawati. I want to tell them that Unity Sculpture is worth putting by the side of countries historical monuments that attract tourism and are source of foreign exchange. Besides, the Prime Minister built it with the clear intention of spreading the message of national unity and its sovereignty and not of appealing to the emotion of a particular community.
