A Godsend

I composed this poem on April 23, 2014, a day before Shri Narendra Modi filed his nomination papers in Varanasi.

A Godsend
    
Some enter politics for politics’ sake;
Some choose politics as a career.
Politicians are both real and fake –
Some are ruined some enjoy life superior.
Some are born politicians;
Some, if nothing else, inherit politics;
Some are maladroit politicians;
Some are pivotal figures in politics;
Some are treated as honoured thinkers;
Some are litter of politicized social eddy;
Some, though rash, are desirable leaders;
Some power-sick consume with self-pity.
But few earn their place in the history,
Sacrifice everything for people’s sake,
Raise countrymen the world to lead,
And are delighted people happy to make.
He who is married to social welfare,
Whose family are the countrymen,
Whose competence is beyond compare is
Called NaMo: for the nation a godsend,
A man of action, of stern moral fibre
And with the will to be the guardian angel,
To find the answer to every poser,
And every complex web to untangle.

गुरुवार, 29 अक्तूबर 2015 दिनांक 29-10-2015 को प्रातः 6.00 बजे आचार्य प्रवर महामंडलेश्वर युगपुरुष श्री स्वामी परमानन्द गिरी जी महाराज बहराइच आ गये तथा 30वाँ 'भक्ति योग वेदांत संत सम्मलेन’ हीरा सिंह लान, बहराइच में पूज्य साध्वी चैतन्य सिंधु के संचालन में प्रारंभ हो गया | सुबह 6=00 बजे से 7.30 तक योग साधना की शिक्षा तथा शाम 6.00 बजे से 9.00 तक संतो द्वारा भजन, कीर्तन तथा प्रवचन होता रहा | यह कार्यक्रम 01-11-2015 तक चला | पूज्य श्री महाराज जी ने कहा कि सत्संग में या अन्य कहीं भी शब्दार्थ की व्याख्या से विवाद पैदा होते हैं | अतः लोगों को चाहिए कि वे शब्दों के उद्देश्य पर ध्यान दें | ऐसा करने पर स्वस्थ सोच की उतपत्ति होती है और मिथ्या प्रपन्च से बचा जा सकता है | अकसर लोग प्रवचनों में कहे गये शब्दों पर तर्क करके धार्मिक लड़ाइयाँ कर लेते हैं जबकि यदि वे उसके अभप्राय पर ज़ोर दें तो एक दूसरे के आपसी विरोध के बजाय समाज सदभावना पूर्ण ढंग चल सकता है | सत्संग का उद्देश्य जीवन की प्राप्ति है न कि उसके नाम पर लड़ाई | उन्होने इस सन्दर्भ में एक कहानी सुनाई

युगपुरुष स्वामी परमानन्द जी महाराज की अध्यक्षता में श्रीमद् भागवत सप्ताह कथा ज्ञान यज्ञ बन्धन गेस्ट हाउस (एसी हाल), डिगिहा तिराहा, गोंडा रोड - बहराइच में 27 अप्रैल 2019 से प्रारंभ हुआ । महामंडलेश्वर आचार्य स्वामी ज्योतिर्मयानन्द द्वारा पावन कथा सायं 4.00 से 7.00 बजे तक प्रतिदिन कही गयी और यह क्रम 03 मई तक चलकर एक भव्य भंडारे के साथ संपन्न हुआ । सुबह 10 बजे पूज्य गुरुदेव स्वामी परमानन्द जी महाराज की एक पत्रकार वार्ता हुयी जो निम्नवत है : पूज्य गुरुदेव से सम्मानित पत्रकारों द्वारा पूछा गया कि क्या साधु संतों का राजनीति में आना उचित है ? उन्होंने उत्तर दिया, 'हाँ क्यों नहीं - राजनीति तो ऐसा विषय है जिसमें समाज के हर वर्ग की सहभागिता आवश्यक है ।' उनसे फिर पूछा गया 'एक संत के रूप सक्रिय राजनीति करना क्या उचित है ?' इस पर उन्होंने सर हिलाते हुए कहा, 'बिलकुल नहीं क्योंकि राजनीति में आलोचना और आरोपों से नहीं बचा जा सकता है ।' विद्वान पत्रकारों ने विषय बदलते हुए उनसे प्रश्न किया कि भाजपा राम मंदिर निर्माण से क्यों बच रही है ? गुरुदेव ने स्पष्ट किया कि भाजपा का
