Modi West Wind

After reading the poem ‘Hiy men Patjhar ke Koojta Basant’ by Sri Narendra Modi, I composed these rhyming couplets on 16 January 2014 to dedicate it to him.

Modi West Wind

Leaves dry and dead are shaking with fear,

With the autumn of judgements drawing near.

In praise of God hymns the hopeful hallowed

False imps from hell have never swallowed. 

New shoots on plants, love and life on land

Vows the bold brave spring to you to hand.

Ready to sweep across the land of Hind

And to start anew is the Modi West Wind.
