NaMo Big Bird

I wrote “NaMo Big Bird” on Saturday, 22 February 2014.

NaMo Big Bird

Religion makes our lives sweet,
If guided by its pious beliefs.
But we, to make our nation great,
Must live in concord with our faith.
Like a big tree is our country;
We, its leaves of integrity;
Various governments are its roots.
Mutual help does bring new shoots.
Rotten is the root
That does not delve into the earth
And find more and more food.
Rotten is the root
That does not feed the tree
On each drop of sucked up juice.
Rotten is the root
That tempts the trunks and
Puts them in contention for the ooze.
Let us eat and drink and grow together,
Share our dreams and hopes together,
Send messages of peace to the world;
Come on, let’s flock with NaMo Big Bird.
