Healthy Lifestyle

We have become shambolic and unsystematic by giving up our long old tradition of routine life. There were times when children were woken up early by their parents; they used to play hide-and-seek; girls played Langadi, a game played by hopping in a rectangular table drawn on the ground. They were encouraged to read books. Simple activities and a mild control would do what a potter does. It was easy for parents to mould their children into wise, prudent and healthy young people. Nothing is defined in terms of when to go to bed, when to get up or what to do and not to do. Yes, one thing is must and that is mobile phone in every hand.

Man had been reading nature to enrich their knowledge. Now the new generation is enriching its knowledge by reading internet that contains both real and unreal information. Children in those days had sufficient open grounds to play on. Now they seldom have any. Yes, school bags have become heavier and, as a result, they do not look so much happy as they should be considering their age. The young generation today walks on a path of uncertainty ahead and it is therefore their faces look worried. The humanity is travelling to where there is not life but strife.

Law and order machinery works when social discipline and moral values not only run parallel to it but also has a role of counter-measure. Generally, most governments do not abide by political ethics. You cannot not call them public servants; instead, you will find them as a band of powerful people, enjoying public money and administrative power. They have a large number of party workers whom they let loose on the people to loot, rape or whatever they may choose to do.
