Love and Hate

They are

Sure of their deaths approaching them,

Killing each other,

Dead while alive,

Acquainted with blood, bullet and blast

Because they have been taught

How to hate everything else.

Hey! We are busy

Loving and living

Yearning and singing

Kissing and missing.

We enjoy God smiling at us

While we are lost in our loves and life.
